Total chicken scratch of a storyboard, but eh.
To add some back-story to this, Chad (and his family) have 2 dogs, Toby and Tater Tot. Chad's very fond of Toby and not so fond of Tater Tot. Their reasons are their own. But hence the 2 diff reactions of being asked to go out.
